Freakonomics explores the hidden side of everything!

If morality describes the ideal world, then economics describes the actual world. Further, Freakonomics studies incentives and how different people in different professions respond.Some of the case studies include bagel salesmen, sumo wrestlers, public school teachers, crack cocaine dealers and parents. This is a smart, fun book; but it's not for everyone. Through a high nerd prospective, the authors deliver a slide rule and pocket protector observation of some controversial subjects.

Good reading and brilliant perspective of cause effect in some society problems.

I recommend this book to everyone as it makes you think and see the world in a different perspective. Some of the conclusions are also surprising and most enlightenment.I love the part of how a street drugs dealer so called business works and the story of how kkk was uncovered. I found useful the part of the house state agent incentives and surprising the facts about crime and the teachers cheating.
